9. Can I book an appointment without a deposit?
No, a deposit is required to secure your appointment. This ensures we reserve the time and resources specifically for you. We also book appointments one at a time, so this helps to respect your time as well as ours.
10. What is your cancellation policy?
At Assuage Hair and Body, we value both our clients' time and our stylists' efforts. To maintain fairness and ensure our team is compensated appropriately, the following cancellation policy applies:
1. Cancellation Fee
If you cancel your appointment for any reason and it was prescheduled or approved without a deposit, a $20 cancellation fee will be charged.
This fee must be paid before you can schedule your next appointment.
2. Rescheduling Grace Period
If you reschedule your appointment within 7 days, the cancellation fee may be waived. This policy ensures that our stylists remain on their regular pay cycle while accommodating your needs.
3. Holding Appointment Spots
This policy discourages clients from holding an appointment "just in case" and then canceling, as it prevents other clients from booking and impacts our stylists’ income.
4. Hair Purchases
If we have purchased hair for your service, the cost of the hair will be added to your cancellation fee as reimbursement.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in supporting both our team and other clients. If you have any questions about this policy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
